Yes I am very happy to consider accepting your existing piano in part-exchange against one of my pianos. A good first step is to send me an email containing as much information as possible about your piano including the make, model (if known), the serial number and condition. Please also attach a handful of photos showing the inside and outside of the piano and please take care to highlight any scratches or dents. I will then reply by email with a valuation.
What if my existing piano has no value?
If your piano is not good enough for me to make an offer on I will still be very happy to take the piano away without charge. I will do my best to find the piano a good home without resorting to scrapping it. One option I sometimes use is to give the piano to a chap in Leeds who removes the wood panels and uses them to make coffee tables. The sad truth is that most old pianos that have that lovely inlay on the top panel are way beyond their musical life and are not worth much (if anything) in part exchange.
Will you swap the pianos over on the same day?
Yes, if you buy one of my pianos and I agree to take away your old existing piano then my movers will first remove your existing piano and bring the new one straight in during the same visit.
What about moving existing pianos to a 3rd party address
If you manage to find a new home for your existing piano then my movers will be happy to take care of that for you. If the address is fairly local to you then they will normally charge a small cash fee to be paid on the day to the driver. If the move is nationwide then a higher fee will be payable and you can get a quote for this by asking me or emailing the movers directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
