Free Yamaha U1 and U3 Buyer's Guide
Hello and thanks for your interest :)In case you don’t already know, my name is Mark Goodwin and I have been playing the piano for 22 years (I started at aged 7) and for the past 5 years I have been running a small, independent piano shop in Greater Manchester. I specialise in selling Yamaha Pianos and spend hours each day replying to emails and answering phonecalls from people who need independent advice about Yamaha pianos, usually the Yamaha U1 or U3. So I have decided to collect all of these questions and answers and create a helpful little email course and distribute it for free.
Note: The Yamaha U1 and the U3 are very similar pianos so everything you will read from this point on is equally applicable to the U1 and U3. More about the differences between those 2 models later…

Why am I giving away this information?
There are some terrible piano dealers & some terrible Yamaha U1/U3s out there and I’d rather see you buy a genuinely excellent instrument from a good, honourable source. In the end I hope you will consider buying a piano from me, but you don’t have to ;)
