Mark’s summary of this instrument
“Possibly the most uniquely-shaped grand piano I’ve seen in a long time. This is a the hugely rare double-curved grand piano that you can’t find ANYWHERE! If you gave me £10,000 and asked me to find one for you I wouldn’t have a clue how to find one – they are so scarce.”

Comments:
I have found out that Joseph Popp designed this piano and he was a member of the famous Bauhaus School and was a contemporary of Bruno Paul. Paul designed pianos for Ibach. Popp was an artist, designer and architect. You can read an article about Bruno Paul if you click here. Also, Popp wrote the book “Die Figurale Wandmalerei, ihre Gesetze und Arten.”
