If you have serious musical ambitions to get to your grade 8 and beyond I would not particularly recommend this one but it is good for up to about grade 6 or 7. Beyond that you might want to get a bigger piano with a louder sound that you can really lay into. I would recommend a Yamaha U1 or U3 in that case. But this B.Squire upright piano will be a very good and reliable piano for anyone want to play to a non-professional standard.
