This impressive length Bechstein grand piano has lost most of its original features such as legs, lyre and music desk but if you were planning to have this restored then you can easily order excellent replica parts for this piano.
The case condition can best be described as average and requiring repolishing if you need it to look good. There are some scratches and chunks that will need addressing. They are not causing any structural problems at all but if the cosmetic condition is important to you then you will need to budget for this.
This Bechstein has been restrung & restored at some point in the past (probably several decades ago). I would say that it is now ready for another restoration. The action is fully working but doesn’t currently feel too great. The same goes for the tone.
So this is a piano with huge potential that requires some restoration to get it back to its peak performance.
