Kawai a very well respected manufacturer who is considered to be on-a-par with Yamaha in terms of build quality and tonal quality. It comes down to personal preference really but this Kawai is definitely worth a look during your piano shopping. I find that this Kawai has a nice bright and lively tone and a very comfortable, light action to play.
The only thing to say against it is that the cabinet is currently a little bit grubby. It isn’t bashed around or anything, it has just lost its shine. However, I’ve had a go at polishing a tiny area just using a normal duster and a some spit (sorry!) and I’m happy to confirm that the piano can get its shine back without too much effort. I recommend using car T-Cut with black wax mixed. You should be able to get that from a car bits & bobs shop.
