This was the very piano (this specific one!) that took me and my sister to Grade 7 & 8 respectively and also took my mother to grade 8. It is my old family piano and I found it to be excellent for learning on. It has a nice light action that is good for children (or any beginner) and the sound quality is easily good enough to get through all the grades. The action is made by Schwander who supply actions for the highest quality pianos in the world including Bechstein, Bluthner and Bosendorfer

The casework is generally excellent with just an odd scuff mark in 1 or 2 places. Overall it is a very presentable piano, please see the photos below for evidence.
