This piano represents excellent value for money for someone who wants a high pedigree of piano but doesn’t have thousands & thousands to spend but also require to the piano to be fully working and generally pleasant to play. This piano ticks all of those boxes and will be an adedquate purchase for whoever steps forward.
The casework has been recently renovated to reasonable standards but with an emphasis on keeping the costs down. The action has been regulated by the north of England’s current leading piano technician (in terms of his “in demand” status by all the shops around here) and it is ready to be used as a practise instrument. Not particularly recommended for high grade players.
Obviously, you shouldn’t expect a pristine instrument capable of bringing the 5th symphony to life but you already knew that when you looked at the price didn’t you? This is a piano for someone who likes Bechsteins (or German pianos in general) but doesn’t have a German budget to match.
