Mark’s summary of this instrument
“I’ve been wanting to get hold of a Celesta for years but have simply never come across them on the used market and a new one (made by Yamaha) costs over £25,000. So I’m very excited to report that I’ve just bought a Celesta and it has just arrived in stock. It is fully working, has been renovated to a good standard, has a nice oak case and sounds just like it ought to. In case you don’t know, the Celesta is the keyboard instrument that plays the famous tinkly-sounding solo in Tchaikovsy’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”
