Mark’s summary of this instrument
“This piano is similar to a Yamaha U3 in many ways. It has an elegant design and look to it, a high quality action that is comfortable to play and it sounds strong, bright and resonant. If you want a U3 for a quarter of the price of a new one, this Samick Upright piano is certainly worth your consideration”

Comments:
There isn’t a great deal more to say about this piano that I didn’t already say in my summary at the top of this page but here is some extra info. Samick started making pianos in 1958 and quickly established themselves as a major player of the high quality piano market making pianos for Hyundai, Baldwin and several other respect names (there is quite lot of cross-breeding in the piano world) and more recently they make pianos for the reputable Knabe and Sohmer piano brands. If my memory serves correctly, Samick recently bought the C Bechstein piano company. So there we have it. This is a high quality instrument made by an ambitious company with a good reputation for build quality.
