| Looks Good | Price is Right | What’s the catch? |
If you are considering purchasing a Yamaha B1, B2 or B3 upright piano, you should consider reading the following information before parting with your hard-earned cash. There is very little information about these new models and so it is important that you look before you leap.
I will answer the following questions for you:
- Are the Yamaha B1, B2, B3 pianos REALLY made by Yamaha in Japan (where quality is very high) or are they made in places like China or Indonesia? (where quality is questionable)
- Are they high quality & low priced or are they in fact low quality & over-priced? (this one is particularly interesting I think)
- Will they last for decades or will the sound deteriorate quickly and will the action stiffen up over time?
- I will then list the many reasons why I think a top quality, 2nd hand Japanese made Yamaha (such as the excellent Yamaha U1 or U3) is a much better option
